BY THE CABIN CRUISES |
Give me an overview of the Endless Summer experience.... Exploring extraordinarily beautiful coves and islands on a private yacht is truly magical - no sailing experience is necessary! The BVI is the sailing capital of the world with constant trade winds, calm waters and over sixty islands to explore. Jamie and Roz are first class sailors and travel guides, as well as congenial and interesting hosts, providing all the services and comforts of a small, intimate hotel. Tell me about my cabin? Endless Summer II was built to charter in the Caribbean, with plenty of through ventilation. Each of the four guest cabins has a private bathroom, comfortable bed and air conditioning. What does the rate include? The vacation is all inclusive apart from an optional crew gratuity, typically 15%. You can expect great food, top end bar and fantastic personal service. Where do we go? What do we see? Our cruise offers an itinerary that is flexible and responsive to everyone's wishes. We normally circumnavigate the islands of the BVI and, weather permitting; we include Anegada, a favorite destination and one that few other yachts offer. "By the Cabin" versus private cruises.... If you are a group of 6 to 8 persons, then you would choose a private cruise. For smaller groups, especially couples and singles, the most affordable option is to join one of our "By the Cabin" cruises. What if I don't really get on with the other guests? Think about it... You are choosing a mini adventure here. Not the 'easy choice' major Cruise Ship. That in itself sets you apart. You know there will be other people in close proximity but you like company , it doesn't bother you. You're sociable, easy to get along with. You chat with the person next to you at a bar or standing in line. So if thats you, then why wouldn't the other guests be the same - good guys! However, Endless Summer II is spacious enough to find your own space when you need it. Most times we are anchored in beautiful little bays where you can jump in the water and share a joke or two with an angel fish that appreciates your sense of humour! Jamie can always take you to a deserted beach or a crowded bar. You just have to ask. It's not like a cruise ship - two by two, down the gang plank, into pre-booked tour buses. The "By the Cabin" dates posted do not suit me. Can they be changed? During the course of a year we will probably offer 2 or 3 cruises. When the dates are posted, they are simply tentative and so if you are the first to sign up, there is every chance we could change the date to suit you. Simply ask us... What happens if some of the cabins are not sold, do you cancel the cruise? Once we have 4 persons with their 50% deposits paid the cruise is confirmed to sail.. Until this minimum is met, we reserve the right to cancel - the most obvious reason is that we have a private group ready to book the same dates. However, no cruise will be cancelled by us, less than 8 weeks prior to the start date, even if there is just a single person signed up. Is my 50% deposit refundable? Yes, in full, for any reason, up to the time when we declare the cruise confirmed. After that time if you need to cancel, then any monies paid are only refundable if we sell all the cabins on the cruise. If we cancel the cruise, you will receive a full refund or be offered another cruise date. Travel insurance is highly recommended Why Endless Summer II ? When it comes to sailing in the BVI, few match the warmth, style and depth of local knowledge that epitomizes the Endless Summer II experience. |
